Ben Baker is originally from Australia, but had moved to New York about ten years ago. He now travels the world capturing people who help define our time and culture. Baker's main subject matter is people and this is shown through his portraits. Baker is a photographer for Politico magazine. Fortune, Politico, Parade, Oprah, along with AARP are only just a few of his clients. I chose this photographer because I like to take portraits of people. I like how Ben Baker plays with different angles in taking these different portraits.
This photo was taken at an upward angle. The main focus of this photo is the person and them pointing their finger. The lighting is mainly in the back of the photo coming from the sun. This photograph is vertical which is better than having it horizontal because it focuses in more on the person and the finger, not the background. I chose to take this picture with a female instead another male because women are becoming leaders in the country now. Women can be just as strong and powerful as men.
